What is Fengshui?
Fengshui (风水), literally "wind and water", is the Chinese discipline of understanding and harmonising the energy — Qi (气) — of environments. Classical Fengshui involves assessing the physical landscape, the orientation of a building, the interior layout, and the timing of the occupants — then making recommendations to support health, prosperity, and harmony.
It is not interior decoration. Authentic Fengshui is a technical discipline grounded in Five Element theory, compass systems, and landform analysis. Master Yi Xin's course teaches these classical frameworks as they have been practised for centuries — adapted for the Singapore urban context.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between classical and modern Fengshui?
Classical Fengshui uses established systems like Eight Mansions and Flying Stars, grounded in compass analysis and Five Element theory. Master Yi Xin's course teaches the classical approach — not simplified decorating rules.
Do I need to study BaZi first?
No prerequisite is required. BaZi knowledge is helpful because the Five Element framework is shared, but the Fengshui course stands alone and is designed for beginners.
Are field practice sessions included?
Yes. Site visits to real properties in Singapore are part of the course. You will take compass readings, assess the environment, and practise writing up recommendations under Master Yi Xin's guidance.
Can I use this course to start a Fengshui practice?
The course gives you a solid working foundation. Many students go on to practise professionally, often continuing with advanced mentoring from Master Yi Xin after completing the structured course.
